The Red Frontosa cichlid is line-bred from Taiwan and lack of organization in the species’ DNA caused the fish to get reddish-brown vertical stripes instead of the common black ones, white bodies, and blue hoes. This fish differs from other Frontosa fish not only in colour but also has a lifespan of up to 25 years.
