These pebbles (rocks) can be used to create a lot of hiding spots for your fish. It is not recommended to be used as a substrate as the gaps between the rocks are too large and food and debris will be deposited to the bottom and making cleaning difficult. Adding them on top of your substrate, will enhance your visual aesthetics.
